reading promotion for boys

In Jeff Stones' book-series "The Five Ancestors", situated in the 17th century in China, five young kung-fu fighting-monks (four boys and one girl) are stranded as the only survivors of a fatal raid on their monastry.
They set out to take revenge for their brothers' deaths, but also to find out about their heritage.

Sound investigation, well written - a perfect reading for book-abstainers of age 11 to 13.

To get boys to read, the actor Rainer Rudloff and the kung-fu-fighter and teacher of modern dance Malte Guhr have developed this very special reading event, combined with an exhibition-bout and a training lesson for school-children.

Target group: boys (11 to 13 years)

Size of audience: max. 75 pupils
